It has four bedrooms and four queen sized beds and two double beds. There are two bathrooms at present, and by Summer 2011, there will be an additional one! It has a lovely, modern kitchen with a dishwasher, and there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Just off the spacious living room which has access to TV, is an attractive, wheelchair accessible deck, where you can sit in peace and quiet and view the pristine meadows that surround the comfortable Alaskan home. You may even see a moose pass through!

Although the house has central heating, our favorite way to get warm is to cozy up to the wood burning stove, and through the door window, watch the flickering fire. There is a nice speaker system for listening to music, and if you want to make your own, you have access to a guitar and piano!

Gustavus is perfect for taking long leisurely walks; however, if you want to go faster, use one of our bikes. There are about 20 miles of paved road in Gustavus, and if you'd like to rent a car, give Bud's Rent-a-Car a call!

Whether you are a family gathering, friends reunion, holding an employee workshop, quilter, artist, or writers group, I know you will love your stay in this lovely vacation rental.
